Lara is truly exceptional! She helped me focus and hone in what was truly bothering me. A few years ago, I joined an amazing medical device company. This company was great, the people were the best to work with, the processes were functional and my job offered a great compensation package. I learned the processes and products, made a lot of positive improvements that yielded great business results. As time went on, I believe I reached the ceiling of what I could do there and my level of enjoyment for work started declining sharply. I would go to work and found most of the tasks mundane, repetitive and not thought provoking. This incited feelings of sadness, questioning what I was doing at work and why I was still there. In all of this, I was struggling with why I was feeling sad, was I being unappreciative because this job offered most of the benefits one would look for in a work place, should I start looking for another job... I spoke to Lara about what was going on and she was amazing. She was able to make me realize that what I was feeling was okay and that I just needed to listen to myself and take action. She walked me through what my feelings could mean and gave me pointers on what actions I should take to start changing things. It was what I needed to hear. I have since made significant changes in my life including finding a new job. Thanks to Lara, I was able to really figure out what was going on with me. I am forever grateful for her help and wholeheartedly recommend her to any one experiencing internal struggles. Lara you are the best!

Hi Lara! I wanted to update you, I made it to the 3 month postpartum mark and I’m feeling so much better, I still get anxious and sometimes overwhelmed but I’m managing it much better but I’m no longer sad and haven’t been tearful in weeks.. I did end up getting an rx for Zoloft but never took it, I guess just having it in my possession had a placebo affect. I want to thank you for all your help during that rough time, I couldn’t imagine where I’d be without our sessions ❤️

Lara is a true blessing to me, to my family, and to all that know her. Lara is a life saver, an inspiration, and a miracle. Unfortunately, after 23 years of marriage, it came to an end, and my family was literally broken and split in half. One of my daughters and I were not handling the divorce well, and Lara literally saved ours lives not once, not twice, but many times and continues to do so. Lara was and still is there to pick us up and give us the strength to brush ourselves off and start anew. Lara is full of spiritually, resources, commitment, understanding, kindness, generosity, professionalism, and relentless strength. From showing us how to navigate helpful apps, where to hike, to talking and collaborating with other healthcare workers, counselors, and doctors, my daughter and I do not think Lara has any limitations. After every session, we leave with new-found comfort, energy, hope, drive, encouragement, optimism, coping skills, and persistence to say the least. My daughter and I have been through many healthcare professionals, and Lara is beyond compare, second to none. Because of Lara, my daughter and I are living, breathing, eternal optimists who are enjoying life and dealing with life's challenges with vigor, compromise, and positive self-assurness! And if we may falter, Lara is there to help, always.

About 5 years ago, I had planned a trip to Florida to visit my Grandmother. It was spring break during my Sophomore Year of college. During this time I was struggling a lot with anxiety and depression. The morning of my flight I had a panic attack and couldn't get out of bed. I was a wreck and my family was worried. The next day my mom made and emergency appointment with Lara. During that session I cried and screamed and felt sorry for myself, but the whole time Lara was there to offer love and support. After a lot of weekly sessions (both in person and over the phone) I was back in school and doing well. During this time I checked in with Lara from time to time. She was always there for me, whether it was a phone call or a text message. As I got older and my mental health improved we drifted apart. This past weekend, about 5 years after the panic attack, I got on a plane and went back to Florida. It was a long 5 years, but I finally got there. While I do not see Lara regularly I still look back at our sessions and use her advice. On the flight I visualized my destination, I listened to calming music, and I practiced mindfulness. If it hadn't have been for Lara and her years of patience and love and I not sure I would have been able to get on that plane this weekend. I am forever grateful for all of her continuous support.

I have been seeing Lara for years. She is such a wonderful therapist! I have always come out of her sessions having goals and feeling so much better about myself. She is patient, accommodating and a compassionate person. She takes all her clients very seriously and is a great listener. I have been to therapists prior that didn’t add much conversation, advice and or knowledge.

She is also great with meditation to help relieve stress and be more mindful. She is a wonderful resource and has referred me to organizations, good books, doctors to a babysitter! Whatever, your need is she offers you the help you need on many levels.

Therapists like her don’t exist and she goes the extra mile in the help and advice she offers. She is very hands on and one of a kind! I have referred her to over 5 of my family and friends and they have all loved her and couldn’t thank me enough.

Lara has been a gift to our family. Her compassion, commitment to healing and expertise has supported each member of our family. Her breadth of knowledge of recovery and her focus on healing and growing has help mend and build each of us. Laras ability to nurture a person to independence by building a safe relationship where you are encouraged to share the parts of yourself that need to heal, is a true gift.
