Lara Fastman
Lara Fastman has extensive experience treating depression and anxiety and comprehensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is skilled in adolescent and adult transitions, as well as marital issues. Lara is credentialed in addictions with an expertise in recovery.
She is also a Certified Professional Coach who collaborates with companies in their implementation of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and is trained in an internationally recognized unique evidence-based program for assessment and treatment of perinatal mood disorders.
Specializing in helping individuals succeed through impactful life transitions such as going to college, getting married, becoming a parent or coping with divorce, Lara has aided many couples, families and parents in successful treatment.
Throughout her nearly twenty-five years of practice, Lara has dedicated herself to helping others. She understands the value of staying engaged and present in her patient’s progress, and honoring their trust.

Lara resides in Westchester County where she spends most of her free time with her husband and three children outdoors, exploring the peaceful beauty of nature.
